System Of A Down
System of a Down is an Armenian-American heavy metal band formed in 1994, known for their unique blend of alternative metal, progressive rock, and elements of Armenian folk music. The band consists of Serj Tankian (vocals), Daron Malakian (guitar/vocals), Shavo Odadjian (bass), and John Dolmayan (drums). They gained fame with their self-titled debut album and continued to rise to prominence with their 2001 album Toxicity, featuring hits like Chop Suey! and Aerials. Known for their politically charged lyrics and innovative sound, System of a Down remains one of the most influential metal bands of the 21st century. After a hiatus, they reunited in 2020 for a series of live performances.
