Pop Smoke, Bashar Barakah Jackson, was an American rapper and songwriter who became a prominent figure in the Brooklyn drill music scene. Known for his deep voice and gritty lyrics, he rose to fame with hits like Welcome to the Party and Dior. His mixtapes, Meet the Woo and Meet the Woo 2, cemented his status as a rising star in hip-hop. Tragically, Pop Smoke was killed in 2020 at the age of 20. His posthumous album, Shoot for the Stars, Aim for the Moon, debuted at number one on the Billboard 200.
